The Cyber Threat Landscape: Awareness and Prevention (Jan'25)

The BCA Department of SDJ International College, Vesu, successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "The Cyber Threat Landscape: Awareness and Prevention" on January 16, 2025, in the AV Room. The event was attended by 142 enthusiastic students from FY BCA, SY BCA, and TY BCA.

The session was led by esteemed expert Dr. Maulik Shah, who provided a comprehensive overview of the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape. Key topics included phishing, ransomware, and social engineering, equipping students with a deeper understanding of modern cyber threats.

Dr. Shah also introduced advanced tools like Wireshark and Metasploit, highlighting their applications in detecting and preventing cyberattacks. Practical strategies were discussed, inspiring students to actively mitigate risks and contribute to building a secure digital future.

The seminar was a highly engaging and educational experience, empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate today’s complex cybersecurity environment.
