Ladoo Gopal Abhushan Making Competition | Creative Week 2026

Creative Week 2026: Mehendi Competition Celebrates Creativity and Tradition at SDJ International College, Vesu
As part of Creative Week 2026, the Mehendi Competition was successfully organized on 25th July 2026 by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) under Saptdhara – Rang, Kala ane Kaushalya Dhara (Fine Arts Band) at SDJ International College, Vesu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who showcased their creativity and artistic excellence through intricate Mehendi designs in the Traditional Mehendi and Mehendi Figures categories. Judged by Ms. Anjali Jain, the competition provided a vibrant platform for students to express their talent while promoting India's rich cultural heritage. The event reflected the spirit of Creative Week 2026 – "Express. Create. Inspire.", encouraging artistic expression, healthy competition, and holistic student development.
Orientation Program 2026 for FY B.Com (DA) & M.Sc. (IT) Students

Students of Travel and Tourism Studies (Vocational Course) Visit Global Travel Trade Fair (GTTF) 2026
Students of the Travel and Tourism Studies – Vocational Course at SDJ International College, Vesu, participated in an Academic Visit to the Global Travel Trade Fair (GTTF) 2026 on 29th July 2026 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center (SIECC), Surat. The visit provided students with valuable industry exposure through interactions with tourism boards, travel agencies, hospitality brands, airlines, and other stakeholders from the travel and tourism sector. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Vinesh Shah, Chairman of Global Travel Trade, and Mr. Bhagirath Kalathiya, Co-Chairman of Global Travel Trade, who briefed the students on the significance of the Business-to-Business (B2B) Travel Fair and its role in fostering industry networking and collaboration. The college expresses its sincere gratitude to the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) and the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Trade & Industries Development Center (SGCTIDC) for facilitating this enriching academic experience and for their continued support in strengthening industry-academia collaboration.

Industrial Visit to Mundra Port | 26th–28th July 2026
SDJ International College, Vesu organized an Industrial Visit to Mundra Port, Kutch for the students of SY & TY B.Com. and B.Com. (Data Analytics) from 26th to 28th July 2026. The three-day educational visit provided students with firsthand exposure to one of India's largest commercial ports, where they gained practical insights into port operations, logistics, supply chain management, cargo handling, warehousing, and international trade. The itinerary also included educational visits to Vijay Vilas Palace and Mandvi Beach, offering students an opportunity to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Kutch. The industrial visit successfully bridged classroom learning with real-world industry practices, enhancing students' professional knowledge and experiential learning.
