E-Business Training Program held at SDJ International College, Vesu (October 23-25, 2024)
A 3-day workshop on E-Business was organized at SDJ International College, Vesu, in collaboration with MakeIntern and the E-Cell of IIM Bangalore. The program was conducted from October 23 to October 25, 2024.
- Registration Fee: ₹2,500 per student
- Total Participants: 42 students participated
- Duration: 6-hour sessions for 3 days, 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
- Venue: Room no. 304, SDJ International College, Vesu
- Organizer: SDJ International College in association with MakeIntern and E-Cell (IIM Bangalore)
- Certification: Participants received an industry-recognized certificate from MakeIntern and IIM Bangalore.
The event was a great success, with students actively engaging in both theoretical and practical sessions. The top five performers were given the unique opportunity to represent SDJ International College at the prestigious IIM Bangalore event.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Darshana Shah, Dr. Seema Malhotra, and Prof. Ranjita Bhowmik Shastri, ensuring smooth execution and valuable learning outcomes for the participants.

Industrial Visit cum Internship Drive at Biogas Pvt. Ltd, Surat
On 17th October 2024, 30 students from FY and SY MMS of SDJ International College, Vesu participated in an industrial visit to Biogas Pvt. Ltd., one of India's leading waste management companies. The visit aimed to give students practical exposure to waste management operations, focusing on waste segregation, recycling, and biogas production. The session included a guided tour of the company's plant, followed by an interactive Q&A session where students gained insights into the industry.
Additionally, an internship drive was conducted for SY MMS students, and several were offered paid internships after successfully completing the first phase of interviews. This visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, connecting classroom knowledge with real-world applications and offering career development opportunities for students.
