SDJ CHA RAJA 2026: Maha Aarti, Chhappan Bhog and a Special Celebration with Children

On 16 September 2026, SDJ International College, Vesu, organized a Maha Aarti and offered Chhappan Bhog to Lord Ganesha as part of Ganesh Mahotsav 2026 – SDJ CHA RAJA. Children from an orphanage were invited to the college for a special program of games and lunch. Students and faculty members spent time with the children, making the day a celebration of devotion, togetherness, and joy.

Ganesh Sthapana of ‘SDJ CHA RAJA’ Marks the Auspicious Beginning of Ganesh Mahotsav ’26

SDJ International College, Vesu, marked the auspicious beginning of Ganesh Mahotsav ’26 with the ceremonial Ganesh Sthapana of “SDJ CHA RAJA.” The occasion was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm as students, faculty, and staff came together to seek Lord Ganesha's blessings.

The Sthapana ceremony created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere across the campus, with prayers and traditional rituals performed to welcome Vighnaharta Shri Ganesha. The gathering reflected a beautiful blend of faith, cultural tradition, unity, and festive spirit.

The celebration began with prayers for wisdom, prosperity, happiness, success, and the removal of obstacles, setting a devotional tone for the forthcoming Ganesh Mahotsav ’26 activities at the college.

Three-Day Power BI Workshop for B-Plan Competition 2026

SDJ International College, Vesu, conducted a three-day Power BI workshop from 7 to 9 September 2026 in Computer Lab 5, in collaboration with E-Cell, IIM Bangalore, and MakeIntern.

Through hands-on sessions, students explored how Power BI can analyze data and present business insights for the B-Plan Competition 2026. The workshop concluded with a valedictory function in Room 304.

SDJIC Men’s Chess Team Secures Runner-Up Position at VNSGU University Chess Competition

The Men’s Chess Team of SDJ International College, Vesu, comprising Shorya Lakhotia, Kharwar Harsh, Nikhil Wadhwani, Khetragna Dave and Surti Abdullah, secured the Runner-Up position at the VNSGU University Chess Competition, held on 20th August 2026 at Deep Jyoti College, Bharuch.

The achievement reflects the students’ strategic skills, dedication and competitive spirit. SDJ International College congratulates the team on their commendable performance and wishes them continued success.

Ganesh Mahotsav’26 – A Celebration of Devotion, Culture & Community Spirit

SDJ International College, Vesu celebrated Ganesh Mahotsav’26 – SDJ CHA RAJA with immense devotion, enthusiasm and vibrant campus participation. The celebration brought together a meaningful blend of social responsibility, knowledge, culture, music, and spirituality through various activities.

The glimpses feature the Blood Donation Camp, promoting the spirit of service and humanity; BOX-OFFICE BRAINS 2.0, an engaging Bollywood & OTT quiz challenge; and a vibrant evening featuring Maha Aarti, cultural performances, the Avyakt Experience – Live Band Performance, and Garba Competition.

SDJ International College, Vesu, joyfully welcomed SDJ CHA RAJA on 11 September 2026 with immense devotion, enthusiasm, and festive spirit. The grand Ganesh Aagman procession featured energetic dance performances, traditional music, and heartfelt prayers. Students, faculty members, and devotees came together to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha and mark the auspicious beginning of Ganesh Mahotsav ’26.

Shree Krishna Janmashtami Celebration 2026 at SDJ International College, Vesu

SDJ International College, Vesu, celebrated Shree Krishna Janmashtami 2026 with devotion, enthusiasm, and festive spirit on 3rd September 2026 at the college Atrium.

The celebration featured Shree Krishna Janmotsav, captivating Janmashtami-themed dance performances by the Nritya Vibe Community, melodious singing performances by students of the Swar Tarang Community and faculty members, and an exciting Matki Phod Competition.

Seminar on Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas Held at SDJ International College, Vesu

SDJ International College, Vesu, organized a seminar on Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas (Partition Horrors Remembrance Day) to commemorate the struggles, sacrifices, and resilience of those affected by India's 1947 Partition.

Dr. Hetal Desai, Keynote Speaker, shared valuable historical insights into the events and impact of Partition. The seminar sensitized students to the lessons of history while emphasizing the values of peace, unity, social harmony, and national integration.
